Am I right at all or is their a simpler way of doing this? Keep in mind I'm using an Xbox One and PS4 has a much more simple solution I believe.

#Xbox one as a pc Pc
I would like to use the xbox app on my pc for party chat while also being able to party to friends using party chat and also hear the audio from my pc, so I have done some research and thought I might need as an Xbox One only has a TOSLink Optical Digital Audio Cable SPDIF port on the back of it and so I am thinking I would need to buy the Audio Extractor Converter to link my Xbox One to the converter > rca ports on the converter to my mixerboard > mixerboard to my pc. I recently bought a Behringer Xenyx 1204USB mixerboard and I have a nice pc and I have my xbox one. I think this is as good as your going to get, as for your mixamp specifically I have no idea if that will work, possibly if you have an Optical Audio input, but even then Microsoft is super picky with what devices are compatible and will work on Xbox it's ridiculous. So he had his headset mic working for Xbox and in the comments said if he wanted to talk on the PC at the same time he had to hook a separate mic up to the PC. He was able to hear in-game audio and use party chat on the Xbox while also being in Skype and listening to music from his PC however you have to have a separate mic for the PC when using the mixamp. If I remember correctly you can't use the Blue Yeti on Xbox as it does not have support for standalone USB microphones however some have gotten it to work with a 3.5mm audio splitter and using the USB on the Yeti for power, using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable from the mic to an Xbox controller headset adapter with an audio splitter connected but it doesn't work with a headset it's too glitchy only 3.5mm headphones will work without issue. As for hearing all of the audio from both simultaneously I found a video of a guy doing it with an Astro Mixamp after a quick google search, but none of the headsets or mics he used where USB and you do need an Optical Audio cable for the sound to come from the Xbox, here is the video. Still, it's good to see that 343 Industries is continuing to place a focus on improving the campaign aspect of Infinite even though the multiplayer might be what most fans are still dabbling with.Do want to be able to play multiple games at a time, I also want to be able to be on discord while I listen to music through my pc and be able to hear my xbox audio. "Whether it's addressing issues with Achievements unlocking or returning to the game via Quick Resume, the team has been working on a handful of fixes for campaign since launch and there will be more on the way."Īgain, this is all a very broad description of what will be changing with the campaign in Halo Infinite, so we'll have to wait until later to learn more about what will actually be getting tweaked. "We'll see multiple improvements in the campaign experience," the blog post said.
#Xbox one as a pc update
Even though the finer details of the patch, especially in regard to the campaign tweaks, weren't really detailed, it was said that the update is going to fix a lot of lingering problems. In a message posted on the Halo forums recently, 343's community manager John Junyszek revealed what fans can expect from this week's Halo Infinite update.
